Aluminium Fabrication in Singapore

Custom aluminium fabrication in Singapore, in 5052 and 6061, with fibre laser welding that keeps distortion under control.

Aluminium fabrication, welded without the warp

We fabricate aluminium parts and assemblies for manufacturers across Singapore, in 5052 and 6061. Most of our aluminium work runs from 1mm to 6mm, with heavier gauges up to 12.7mm on request. Aluminium is light and corrosion-resistant, which makes it ideal for casings, covers and lightweight frames. It is also unforgiving to weld: it conducts heat quickly and warps easily, and its reflective surface makes welding demanding. Controlling that is where we earn our keep.

Welding aluminium

We weld aluminium with fibre laser welding, which puts far less heat into the part than TIG or MIG. Lower heat input keeps the heat-affected zone small and distortion under control, even on thin gauge, and leaves clean seams that need little finishing. Modern fibre laser sources handle reflective aluminium well, and our welders have the experience and equipment to hold that quality consistently, part after part. Accurate joint fit-up matters for laser welding, and our own cutting and forming give us that. Where a thicker section, a particular joint or a repair calls for it, we TIG weld instead.

Grades we fabricate

5052

Formed parts: covers, boxes, enclosures and panels. Excellent formability and corrosion resistance.

6061-T6

Structural and machined parts: frames and load-bearing components. We advise on bend radii, as 6061-T6 is less forgiving on tight bends.

Tell us the grade and we will confirm the best approach for your part.

What we make in aluminium

  • Casings and covers
  • Lightweight frames
  • Boxes and enclosures
  • Machined 6061 components
  • Parts for semiconductor and precision manufacturing equipment
  • One-off prototypes through to production runs

How we fabricate aluminium

We cut aluminium on our 4kW CNC laser, which takes sheet up to 5 ft x 10 ft (1525 x 3050 mm), and form it on CNC press brakes with bends up to 2m long. See our CNC laser cutting and bending page for the full process. For structural 6061 parts we also machine in house on 3 and 5-axis CNC mills.

Fibre laser welding

Low heat input keeps distortion controlled on thin aluminium.

3 and 5-axis CNC machining

Machined 6061 parts to complement formed sheet work.

PEM insertion

Self-clinching nuts and standoffs pressed in house.

Deburring and finishing

Edges deburred in house; anodising arranged through trusted partners.

Fabricated to your drawing

Cut, bent, machined and welded to the tolerances on your print.

1mm to 6mm

The gauges most jobs need; up to 12.7mm on request.

Finishing

Aluminium is often anodised for corrosion resistance or appearance. We deburr in house and arrange anodising and other finishing through trusted partners, so parts come back ready to use.

Who we work with

Our aluminium fabrication supports precision engineering, electronics, semiconductor and industrial automation customers, from local SMEs to multinational manufacturers with operations in Singapore. We fabricate to your drawings, from prototypes to ongoing production.

Frequently asked questions

What aluminium grades do you fabricate?

5052 and 6061. 5052 suits formed parts such as covers, boxes and enclosures; 6061-T6 suits structural and machined parts. Tell us your grade and we will confirm.

Can you weld aluminium?

Yes. Aluminium warps easily, so we use fibre laser welding to keep heat input and distortion low, with TIG welding where the joint or section calls for it.

What thickness of aluminium can you work?

Most of our aluminium work runs from 1mm to 6mm. Heavier gauges, up to 12.7mm, can be quoted on request. Send your drawing and we will confirm.

What size parts can you fabricate?

Our laser takes sheet up to 5 ft x 10 ft (1525 x 3050 mm) and we bend up to 2m long. For larger assemblies, send your drawing and we will advise.

Can you anodise aluminium parts?

We arrange anodising and other finishing through trusted partners, so your parts come back ready to install.

Do you machine aluminium?

Yes. We run 3 and 5-axis CNC milling in house, which suits 6061 structural and machined components.

Do you take prototypes or small batches?

Yes, from one-off prototypes to production runs. Some parts may carry a minimum order, which we will confirm with the quote.
